Hey guys! Liana here tonight, and I'm thrilled to share these photos with you! Last year, I decided to go on vacation and visit a few of the national parks in honor of their 100th birthday! I visited Rocky Mountain National Park, Yellowstone, and Glacier National Park! It was a whirlwind of a vacation, with each day starting early and ending late, but it was definitely worth it! Being reconnected with nature, not having cell service (so thankful for that!), it was a truly great feeling. I can't wait to visit more in the following years!
The first park we visited was Rocky Mountain, which was stunning! I loved hiking the trails, seeing the mountains, and of course all the wildlife! While in Colorado, a stop was made at the famous (infamous?) Stanley Hotel for breakfast. SO. WORTH. IT. It was awesome to visit this iconic hotel and have one of the best breakfasts I've ever had.
The next destination was Yellowstone, which is massive. I wish I had more time to spend there, so I could truly hike it! It's a great place, and the first place where I ever successfully set up a tent and camped! (It was a big deal, still is honestly lol) I loved being that much closer to nature, and the plus side is I never once saw any dangerous wildlife! Well, unless you count buffalo/bison, but that's only if you get too close to them. It was an amazing stop on the road trip, and I will definitely return!
The last stop on the tour was Glacier National Park, which sits just below Canada. This small but expansive park doesn't have too many roads, but there are plenty of trails to take! It's a gorgeous location, with the clearest water I've ever seen. This was by far my favorite park, and one that I can't wait to get back to. The mountains, the glaciers, the lakes, everything about it was absolutely perfect.
I hope you all enjoyed visiting this blog tonight! I encourage everyone to get out and explore the parks. There's a park for everyone, you just have to find it first! :)
