Erica & Mazzie!

Hello everyone! Liana here, and I’m thrilled to finally be blogging again! Recently, I have been traveling for work, and going down to Memphis. Thankfully, Katie and I both have a friend, Erica, who lives down there! I’m sure you’ll remember her as soon as you see her, considering she’s been on the blog several times before!

As a thank you gift, I decided to take some photos of Erica and her cute little chihuahua, Mazzie (pronounced Maisie!). These photos turned out so well, and on top of a great thank you gift, it was a congratulations gift too! Erica just passed one of her hardest tests for her degree, so we wanted to celebrate! Check out all the cuteness below!

All Together!

Hello everyone! Liana here, and I’m thrilled to finally be sharing this family session from Christmas Eve! I’ve been having some hard drive issues, but everything has been resolved, which means we’re back to regularly blogging on Tuesdays!

Cheryl and I met in 2017 through a networking group. We’ve kept in touch, and when she reached out about having her family all together for Christmas and wanting to capture it, I was more than happy to help! Not only were Cheryl and Wayne’s children all in town (including one who came from Saudi Arabia!), but her daughter, Mary, had her in-laws in town all the way from Germany! It was great getting to work with this big family, and I’m happy to say they absolutely loved their images! Check them out below!

Like Father, Like Son | Branson Boys

Good evening, friends!

Katie here, and tonight I’m sharing some images from the Branson men’s photo session. Adam and I work at for the same automotive group and he wanted to do a session with his son. We took these back in October as a Christmas present for Adam’s mom, so we didn’t want to share any of them before and ruin the surprise.

We met at Lake Jacomo and had a lot of fun! Clark is one of the funniest little boys and was so much fun to work with! There were lots of smiles, giggles and of course funny faces. I hope you enjoy a sneak peek into this session this evening!

Bianculli Family!

Hello everyone, and welcome to our first blog post of 2019! It’s Liana, and I am so excited to be sharing this beautiful family with you all! All seven of them were troopers, and met me on Main Street in old town St. Charles at 8am, three days before Christmas! Needless to say, the weather was less than perfect, but it didn’t get their spirits down!

Courtney contacted me through Facebook, wanting to book a family session as a gift for her mom. Originally set to be eight people (family + significant others), Zach’s girlfriend Carrie unfortunately couldn’t make it, but he did bring his dog, Zeus! Seven humans and two dogs in total makes for a hilarious photo shoot! Thank goodness I still had dog bags in my pocket from leaving the house haha. We had a great time wandering around Main Street, and the Christmas decorations were the perfect touch! Check out the photos below <3

2018 Thank You!

Good evening everyone! Katie and Liana here tonight, and we just wanted to take a few moments out of the day to thank every single one of you for your continued support of K&L Photography <3 This year was our biggest yet, but we’ve got a lot of plans up our sleeves for 2019, and we’re hoping for an even bigger one next year!

When prepping for this post, I asked Katie to type up a quick thank you. I just read hers, and it sums up my feelings perfectly!

“This year has been a very busy and great year! I just want to personally thank each and every one of you for your help in making our business succeed. I’ve enjoyed getting to know and photograph all of our new, and returning, clients. Each session is always different, and always a good time! Without you, none of this would be possible. So, thank you and have a great and safe NYE.”

We wanted to post an image from each of our sessions we had, just to remind ourselves how lucky we are to do what we love <3

Good evening, everyone!

Katie here and I’m sorry about the late post- this week has been super crazy and both me and my daughter are battling some sickness around here! This week’s blog post is a little short and is of my family photos we took on vacation this year, as you can see there are a lot of us!

This year, we vacationed to Dauphin Island, Alabama. It’s a very small island, with not a whole lot to do- which is exactly the vacation we needed! As usual, we all stayed in one house... which is always an experience! If you’re looking for a low-key place to vacation too, I definitely recommend the island!

I hope you all enjoy tonight’s images, and stay tuned for the coming weeks!

Braundmeier Summer Session!

Hello everyone! Liana here, and I am SO ready to be sharing this session with you all! We posted the sneak peek a few weeks back, but since we've had so many sessions taking place, we're just now getting to posting the full session! Even though it rained on the day of our session, we were able to find a break in between the clouds and grab some wonderful family photos! Check them out <3

Jones Family | Sneak Peek

Good evening, everyone!

Katie here, and tonight we have a sneak peek of my sister's family session. These were taken when I was back in STL 2 weeks ago for my nephew's first birthday party. Sunday morning we got up and took some photos in the side yard and recreated some photos from last year's shoot, but more on that in a couple weeks!

This year's family photos were much more interesting with a 5 year old, 3 year old, and a 1 year old that's for sure! Little mister was just wanting to run like a wild man!

I hope you enjoy this sneak peek tonight, the last one is one of my favorites! :)

Christmas Family Photos!

Hello everyone! As usual, it's Liana here, wrapping up the last of our December sessions! This one is near and dear to my heart, as it's my own family! My mom and I always visit her mom, my grandma, for Christmas, and our whole family gets together to celebrate. Thankfully we're a smaller family, with the gathering being no more than 9 people, and we're all adults at this point!

This year, my grandma asked if I could take some family photos for her, to update the ones she has. Knowing it would be an easy task, I said yes, and it only took about 30 minutes! We started upstairs in the parlor for the smaller group photos, then moved downstairs to the living room for the family photo! Check them out below!

Jamie & Luna!

Hello everyone! Liana here, letting you know that we are almost all caught up with our sessions from December! The week before Christmas, we were blessed with some gorgeous weather, especially for Missouri. Who could resist being outside when it's in the 60's, am I right? No one, of course! Everyone took full advantage of the beautiful weather, and who could blame them! When Jamie, a great friend I made through my Women's Power Networking chapter, approached me about taking photos of her and her 13 year old dog, Luna, I couldn't have said yes fast enough! Anyone who knows me, knows that I love dogs, and getting to photograph them is even better! On Jamie's birthday, we met up at Vlasis Park in Ballwin, and set out to have some fun in the sun! Even though Luna is mostly blind, she gets around just fine with the help of her mama! We all had a great time, and the best part is that Jamie will have these photos to cherish for a lifetime <3
