Miss Ember Margaret

Good evening, everyone! Katie here, and I’m very excited about tonight’s blog, since it’s about our new little one! As most of you know, my due date was October 21st. The date came and went, and little Miss was pretty comfortable in my belly. We had an induction date scheduled and we went in for our final doctor appointment on the 25th. As we were meeting with our doctor, we found out that we would actually be inducing that day! We were not prepared for that one!

We called our families and made our way to the hospital ready to meet our baby. My contractions weren’t bad at all, l wasn’t even feeling them until they got pretty strong. Miss Ember Margaret Flickinger entered the world at 12:02 am on October 26, 2017. We were so happy to finally meet this little gal after 40 weeks of waiting! We had a few hiccups with delivery, so she spent a little time in the NICU, but quickly bounced back and has been doing excellent ever since. She’s definitely a little spitfire, but that’s just shows us that we picked the right name for her :) Liana did such a great job on our photos, and we can’t wait to see them all. She’s going to be such a wonderful Aunt to Ember.

Liana here as well! Photographing newborns has never been my forte, but I knew that I would be the one photographing Ember once she was here! Ember was actually a very easy girl to photograph, and she only cried once during the session! We got some beautiful photos, and I'm so happy that she woke up so we could capture her big eyes!

New Arrival

Good evening everyone!

Katie here, and I'm excited about tonight's blog! A little over a week ago, my newest nephew was born, and he is the cutest!

Carter Matthew came into this world weighing 7 lbs 12 oz and now shares the same birthday as my oldest brother, Steve. He sure is a tiny little thing compared to his sisters, but I'm sure he'll catch up in no time!

We took most of these photos when he arrived home and he is not even 48 hours old yet in these photos!

And of course, I'm sharing my favorites for last... I've been in a bit of black and white phase here lately, and I'm in love these next few images!

I hope you've enjoyed tonight's blog, and be sure to stayed tuned for the next post!
