Saguaro National Park!

Good evening friends! Liana here, continuing my blogging about my travels to Tucson a couple of weeeks ago! Today's post is about my adventure in Saguaro National Park, which is actually divided by the city of Tucson. Mindy, Chelsea and I visited the east side of the park, which is the one they live closest too! Fun fact, Mindy's mom (basically my second mom!) married her husband in the park! Can you say goals?!

Anyway, entrance into the park is cheaper than most, with a car being $15, and each individual person is only $5! We started off by walking along the 8-mile loop drive in the park. After about 2 miles, we turned back around and hopped in the car to hit our destination for sunset! We decided to drive to Douglas Spring Trailhead, which has a lot of great trails running from it. Sunset was coming fast, so we didn't hike too far on the trail, but we did get some amazing photos, and Mindy and Chelsea found a new hiking path! Check out all the fun photos below! :)

Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum!

Hello everyone! Liana here, and I am so excited to share my travels with you over the next couple of weeks! I had a few days off, so I packed up my stuff and traveled down to Tucson to visit some of my best friends, Mindy and Chelsea! We decided to try some local foods and spots while we were together, and the first place we visited was the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum! Mindy and Chelsea are members here, and absolutely love it. Plus, they had a guest pass so I was able to get in for free!

The desert museum was way more than I thought it would be! Along with a walking path through native plants, they also have a lot of different animals that are found in the Sonoran Desert! They have wolves, coyotes, javelinas, river otters, and stingrays, among a bunch of others! Mindy and Chelsea even had passes for the stingray exhibit, and we got to pet them! If you've never felt one, I suggest seeing if you can! It's an awesome experience, and I'm glad I got to do it!

Even though monsoon season hasn't hit yet, there were still quite a lot of flowers blooming, but they said it looks even better after it rains. Hopefully I'll have a chance to get back down and check it out in the Spring/Summer! Check out the photos below!
